WAEC Auto Building Construction Syllabus 2025/2026: It is crucial to study this syllabus if you intend to take Building Construction and are getting ready for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The WAEC Building Construction syllabus serves as a manual outlining the subjects, abilities, and information you must become proficient in order to pass the test.
The purpose of this curriculum is to assist students in learning the concepts, methods, and supplies utilised in construction. To guarantee that students obtain practical experience and a strong grasp of the subject, it covers both theoretical and practical aspects.
This post will outline the main points of the syllabus, highlight important points and offer advice on how to successfully study for the WAEC Building Construction exam.
Papers 1, 2, and 3 are required to be taken. Papers 1 and 2 must be taken together as a composite.
First Paper: will include 40 multiple-choice objective questions, each of which must be answered in 45 minutes to receive 40 points.
Five brief, structured essay questions will make up PAPER 2. For 60 points, candidates must complete any four questions in one hour.
The third paper will be a hands-on assessment. Sections A and B will make up its two sections. It will take two and a half hours to complete, and it will be worth 100 points.
Only candidates from Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia will be considered for Section A. On BUILDING DRAWING, that is it.
